Lin's Inspirational and Humorous Writing

Thanks for visiting my personal page.

I have nearly 20 sites floating around now but

none just for my creative writing;

sooooo, here it is!

Much of what I write is distinctively Christian,

hopefully inspirational and encouraging to other struggling mortals.

This material, without a doubt, is Holy Spirit inspired.

However, I also enjoy exercising my creative mind,

especially my sense of humor,

often "going over the top" by portraying daily life

in the extremes of absurdity.

I am a Baby Boomer who has been through enough of life to know that it isn't worth taking too seriously.

Afterall, the only thing we are here after is the hereafter!

And, having a sense of humor helps that process.

I hope you will enjoy my written works!

Inspirational Christian Writings

These are the pearls of my writing mainly because I don't "write" them. They are wondrously inspired by the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ as food for His sheep, the people of all His pastures.

He gave me my writing abilities and it is such an awesome privilege to use them to proclaim Him and His excellent greatness!

The simple truths that I share change lives and souls only because of the power of the Holy Spirit through them upon the readers. Every week I hear from someone who "miraculously" arrived at one of my sites and was touched deeply enough to examine their life and recommit it to Jesus, or, in one case, to prevent further contemplation of suicide. Every message is a sign to me that what I write and share is God's work through my life. How blessed I am to do this for Him!

Jesus is the Beloved. Most of the time, His love is very real to us. However, such is the nature of life that all of us go through periods during which we experience the "D" words: depression, despair, defeat, despondancy, downheartedness, disquietness, or just the 'doldrums' of the spirit.

The two short writings which comprise My Beloved Loves Me are for those times and for those people who are feeling lost and lonely.

This is the first piece that the Holy Spirit wrote for me, giving me the entire writing in my mind and urging me to transcribe it. I hope it will uplift your spirit.
